This is the project of a fictional 80s synthpop band with a melancholic, theatrical, and deeply introspective aesthetic. They don't present themselves as a tribute or a retro experiment, but rather as a band that could have existed in the 80s.
Their music combines vaporwave atmospheres, minimalist electronic textures, and lyrics laden with emotional symbolism. The songs tend to develop short narratives, often centered on disenchantment, memory, desire, or the distorted perception of time. There is a constant tension between the intimate and the cosmic, the urban and the ethereal.
Nieces of Eve doesn't seek fame or reinvention: she seeks emotional resonance, to create a space of belonging for those who live between disenchantment and wonder. Her music doesn't shout: it whispers important things. There's no fake nostalgia; her universe is coherent and closed, like a time capsule that never wanted to be opened.
